McCain Doesn't Get It

McCain Doesn't Get It

President Clinton knew something that John McCain doesn't--"it's the economy stupid." As the McCain Campaign runs around the country insulting Barack Obama, voters are listening to Obama's words on the economy. Maybe Obama is right about John not "getting it."

We're in troubled times, John. Yet, you want to talk about the war, patriotism, and Barack's associations. If the Dow hadn't crashed, maybe people would listen. Right now, most people really don't care about Bill Ayers or Rev. Wright. They care about their jobs, their 401(k)s. and their wallets. If you talked more about those subjects, maybe people would hear your message.

If McCain fails to deliver a comprehensive message on the economy at the debate tonight, this campaign is over. The most important poll comes on November 4th.

  • I don't happen to agree. The economics cycle will continue, and it won't matter who the president is. The congress are the ones who will send the bills to the president, so no, I don't happen to agree at all. I think we need to be able to trust our president if he's going to be affective in anything and Obama has proven over and over again that he will lie and lie and lie and lie, until he can't lie anymore and then he'll distance himself from it.

  • Hey all, thanks for your comments. I'm not trying to make Senator McCain look bad. This article is merely a commentary on political savvy. I believe everyone should be open minded enough to admit these two gentlement are human. McCain is not the devil incarnate and Obama is not the Messiah. Obama just has political instincts that John does not.
